Ingredients
- 4 eggs - room temperature
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Fustini's Maple balsamic
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 stick butter, melted and tepid
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- 1 teaspoon Fustini's Maple balsamic
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 1/8 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons Iron Fish Bourbon Maple Syrup
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Maple balsamic
- 1 tablespoon bourbon
- 1 1/4 sticks soft butter

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a quarter sheet pan. Place eggs and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and mix on high speed until the volume has tripled and the mixture is light and fluffy, 6 to 8 minutes. Add vanilla extract and Fustini&rsquo,s Vinegar and mix well. Sift flour into mixer and stir on low speed until just combined., Fold melted butter in with a spatula and pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until just set, 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Mix all together. After the cake has cooled, brush all over with bourbon syrup.
- In a medium sauce pan, heat cream and milk until warmed. Scramble yokes and temper with the warm milk. Once all yoke has been added. Combine remaining ingredients, stir and heat until heated through.
