Basil Crush olive oil

Our Basil olive oil is produced by crushing the olives and basil simultaneously in the same press. This process allows for the essential oils from the basil to harmonize with the oil from Coratina olives.

 

The aroma of this olive oil is true-to-herb; freshly picked basil is heavily prominent. With the strong flavor, this basil herb oil may need to be used in lesser amounts.

VINEGAR PAIRINGS: 

Citrus Oregano balsamic, Cranberry Pear balsamic, Raspberry balsamic, Sicilian Lemon balsamic, West Michigan Blueberry balsamic, 18 Year Traditional balsamic

IDEAS:
  • Combine with 18 Year Traditional balsamic to marinate poultry or seafood.
  • Combine with any Fustini’s balsamic for great olive oil and vinegar dressing.
  • Use olive oil in baking in place of butter or other oils for brownies, cakes or muffins.
  • Use to cook fried or scrambled eggs.
  • Drizzle over root vegetables.
  • Add to a skillet to sauté chicken or pork.
  • Drizzle on cooked pasta with fresh tomatoes.
