Aunt Sue's Grilled Salad

Substitute your favorite olive oil & balsamic combinations including: Meyer Lemon, Herbs de Provence, Gremolata, Basil, Iron Fish Honey, Ginger Honey, Sicilian Lemon.


Step 1. 

Divide the romaine head in half lengthwise. Wash and dry thoroughly.   Brush the cut side of lettuce with olive oil.  Sprinkle with seasoning and fresh ground pepper.  Place cut side down on the hot grill.  Heat until leafy ends begin to wilt. Remove from heat. 

Brush grilled cut side with Fustini's balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
