For even more flavor, combine a small amount of 18 Year balsamic with the mayo before spreading it on the bread. Also substitute your favorite herb-infused olive oil.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Drizzle olive oil over one side of each slice of bread and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 5-8 minutes until lightly toasted.
Turn each bread slice over and spread a small amount of mayonnaise on top. Place bacon and tomato slices on each piece of bread and top with cheese. Place in the oven for another 8-10 minutes until cheese is melty.
Remove from the oven and top with shredded romaine and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
