Country Corn Chowder

Country Corn Chowder

  • 2 tablespoon Fustini's Leek olive oil
  • ½ cup minced onions
  • 2 ½ cups diced potato
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup bacon, cooked, chopped
  • 1 - 15 ounce can creamed corn
  • 1 - 15 ounce can evaporated milk
  • shredded cheddar cheese for garnish.


Step 1. 

In a medium saucepan, heat Fustini's Leek olive oil and sauté onions until they are soft, remove from pan.  Add diced potatoes and cover with an inch of water and boil for 10 minutes.  Add bacon, corn, cooked onions and milk and simmer for 15 minutes until heated through.

Garnish with shredded cheese.
