Substitute your favorite herb-infused olive oil. Add vegetables to this dish for a nutritious skillet supper.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and add ham, red pepper, and onions. Cook 5-6 minutes until ham is browned and vegetables are tender. Add garlic, parsley, seasoning, and peas, and cook for 2 more minutes. Deglaze the pan with balsamic.
Add pasta and toss to combine. Add reserved pasta water to keep from scorching the bottom. Mix well and heat through. Top with cheese and reserved parsley before serving.
