Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the pears in half and core, but do not peel. Melt the butter in the bottom of a skillet or oven-safe pan, and cook the pears for 2-3 minutes, then put in the oven for 20 minutes.
While the pears are in the oven, whip together the mascarpone, the whipping cream, and 1 tablespoon of Fustini’s Riserva and 2 teaspoons of the warmed honey. Remove the pears from the oven and drizzle with 3 tablespoons Fustini’s Riserva balsamic vinegar and return to the oven for 5 minutes. After that, remove from the pan and place the pears on a serving dish, pour the other 2 teaspoons of warmed honey over them equally and dollop with the mascarpone cream, dust with cinnamon, and serve.
