Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Chipotle olive oil
- 1/2 white onion, diced
- 1/2 red pepper, diced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 8-pkg refrigerated crescent rolls (sheets work great!)
- 1/4 cup bacon
- 1/4 cup Colby Jack or Pepperjack cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small sauté, pan heat olive oil. Add onion and peppers and continue cooking until translucent. Remove from heat and allow to cool. On a floured surface, roll out crescent dough, pinching triangles together to form 1 large rectangle. Spread cheese, bacon and cooled onion mixture over the dough. Starting along a long side, roll dough to a cylinder. With a sharp serrated knife, cut the roll into slices 1 1/2 - 2 inches apart. Lay flat on a baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Serve as is or with your favorite salsa or guacamole.
