Job Title

Social Media Specialist

Location: Hybrid role based in Michigan. Must reside within 15 miles of one of our four retail locations.

Job Purpose

Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars is hiring a Social Media Specialist to support our 2026 digital growth strategy.

This role is not focused on vanity metrics or trend chasing. In 2026, social media functions as a revenue-support engine — driving subscriber growth, improving conversion through education, and supplying high-performing creative to email and paid media.

The Social Media Specialist will execute a structured content strategy aligned with our national campaigns, product launches, and gifting initiatives while directly contributing to measurable business outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Content Execution & Campaign Support

  • Develop and execute weekly content aligned with 2026 national campaigns

  • Support seasonal launches (Selects, 18 Year, seasonal balsamics, gifting)

  • Translate brand pillars (Education, Inspiration, Experience, Giving) into consistent content

  • Repurpose content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and email support assets

Subscriber Acquisition

  • Create lead-generating content tied to:

    • Gift guides

    • Pairing guides

    • Recipe downloads

    • Seasonal campaigns

  • Work with Marketing Director to optimize CTAs and landing page alignment

  • Track subscriber growth sourced from social

Product Education & Trust Building

  • Produce product usage videos

  • Create recipe-driven and entertaining-focused content

  • Amplify PR wins and credibility moments

  • Support retail and in-store initiatives through social storytelling

Creative Testing & Paid Support

  • Test organic content angles before paid promotion

  • Identify top-performing hooks, formats, and messaging

  • Collaborate with paid media partners to refine ad creative

  • Supply approved content for Meta and Google ad usage

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track:

    • Net-new subscribers from social

    • Engagement rates tied to campaigns

    • Creative performance metrics

    • Website traffic sourced from social

  • Provide monthly insights and recommendations

  • Adjust strategy based on performance data

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or public relations required.

Experience

  • 1-2 years experience in social media marketing, preferably in retail, DTC, or food & beverage

  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, etc.)

  • Experience creating short-form video content (Can be personal)

  • Understanding of subscriber growth strategy

  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and testing frameworks

  • Ability to translate brand voice into consistent content

  • Highly organized and deadline-driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting paid media creative

  • Knowledge of food, hospitality, or gifting industries

  • Photography and light styling skills

  • Helpful if you have understanding of Klaviyo, Meta, and Shopify

Working Conditions

  • Environment: In office, remote, or in store creating content

  • Physical effort/lifting, such as sedentary - up to 10 pounds

  • Some weekend work needed for in store events

  • Travel requirements: 20% travel to other store locations

Pay Rate and Total Rewards Compensation

  • Salary: $50,000.00

  • Annual Review
