Pomegranate Balsamic (Dark)

Pomegranate's perpetual distinctive flavor and versatility make it ideal for a wide array of foods with both tart and sweet characteristics.  This vinegar is sweet and succulent, with a velvety rich texture that pairs beautifully with olive oils for basting roasted Brussels sprouts or with leafy greens. Excellent as a glaze for lamb, it also makes an incredible reduction that is delicious over salmon or when drizzled over fresh fruits.

OIL PAIRINGS: Meyer Lemon Olive Oil, Roasted Walnut Oil, Basil Olive Oil, Gremolata Olive Oil, Persian Lime Olive Oil, Sage and Wild Mushroom Olive Oil, Cilantro & Onion Olive Oil or any Single Varietal Olive Oil

IDEAS:

  • Combine with Persian Lime olive oil for roasted Brussels sprouts.
  • Combine with Basil, Meyer Lemon or Persian Lime olive oil to serve over salad greens.
  • Combine with Basil olive oil to marinate meat.
  • Reduce in a saucepan, then drizzle over fruit, fish or meat.
  • Try it in your favorite cranberry relish or marmalade.
