Jalapeno Popper Pizza

Ingredients

    • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
    • 2 large peppadew red peppers, finely chopped
    • 3 jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and finely chopped
    • 1 – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
    • ¾ - 1 cup whole milk
    • 1 teaspoon oregano
    • 2 tablespoons Fustini’s Chipotle olive oil
    • 1 pizza crust
    • 2 cups mozzarella cheese

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 550 degrees. If using a pizza stone, place the stone in the oven to heat. In a medium skillet, cook sausage over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles and drain.
    2. Place red peppers and jalapenos together into a shallow pan and cook until the peppers are soft, then add the cream cheese, parmesan, and milk along with the sausage and cook until melted, stir in oregano.
    3. Roll crust out and drizzle with the Fustini's Chipotle oil, then spread the jalapeno popper filling on the pizza crust and top with the mozzarella cheese and bake until crust is done, and pizza is golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and then serve.
