3 lbs boneless pork shoulder cut into 2-inch cubes

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

2 garlic cloves, chopped

1 medium onion, rough chop

1 whole apple with skin, rough chop (remove core)

1 teaspoon dried sage

¼ cup Fustini's Red Apple balsamic

1 cup chicken stock

1 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice

slice of lemon peel with 4 whole cloves stuck into the peel

1 cup pitted prunes cut in half
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook 8/9 hours on low or 5 hours on high. When you are 1 hour from the end of cooking time add prunes.
