Rosemary Ginger Grapefruit Fizz

Ingredients

    • ¼ cup fresh rosemary
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 whole grapefruits, half of 1 sliced into garnishes for the glass, 1 ½ juiced
    • OR  12 oz fresh grapefruit juice
    • 24 oz club soda
    • 2 tablespoons Fustini's Grapefruit balsamic
    • Rosemary Sprig to skewer the grapefruit slice for a garnish
    • Ice

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, heat the fresh rosemary, water and sugar to boiling while stirring and then simmer for 1 minute, turn off the heat and let steep for 30 minutes. Pour into a clean jar through a strainer and store in the refrigerator until use. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
    2. For each glass, fill a tall glass ¾, full of ice, add 3 oz grapefruit juice, balsamic, 2 tablespoons of the rosemary simple syrup, then fill the rest of the way with club soda or seltzer, and garnish with a grapefruit slice and a rosemary sprig. Can also be enjoyed with gin or vodka or a hard seltzer if you prefer that, just use equal parts of grapefruit juice and alcohol.
