Cool off with this refreshing watermelon sorbet, bursting with juicy sweetness and a hint of mint—summer in every spoonful.

Watermelon Sorbetto al Balsamico

Ingredients

  • 6 cups cubed seedless watermelon

  • 2 tablespoons Watermelon Mint Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 cup fruity herbal tea

  • fresh lime juice (optional)

Directions

  1. Place water and sugar in a small pot. Bring to a simmer and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. Place watermelon, balsamic, and syrup in the bowl of a blender and puree until smooth.Line a 7x11 metal cake pan with plastic wrap, letting it hang over the edges. Pour in the watermelon mixture.

  3. Place in freezer until solid, at least 6 hours.Turn the block of watermelon ice onto a cutting board and break the block into chunks with a fork or knife.

  4. Place blocks in the blender and blend again until smooth. Scoop and serve!
