Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Fustini's Garlic olive oil, plus more for toasting
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 red onion, diced, and divided
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Harwood Gold Horseradish Maple mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 pound ground beef sirloin
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 6 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 1/2 cup arugula
- 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- bread and butter pickles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook garlic and half of onion until softened, 2 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, mustard and brown sugar. Increase heat to medium-high, brown beef with garlic mixture, about 5 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes until warmed through, about 2 minutes.
- Cut rolls in half and place open-faced on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toast for 4-6 minutes.
- Turn off the heat of the meat mixture and mix in cheese. Place roll bottoms on a platter and divide the mixture between the rolls. Top with a dollop of guacamole, arugula, cherry tomatoes, remaining red onion and pickles. Finish with the top of the roll before serving.
